Just read a great post on how to build your target market here is the video for session one

After you’ve watched the video then go here to get started today with your successful network marketing business . When starting to seek out a new network marketing company you always need to ensure that the opportunity is valid.

Many new network marketing companies fail in their first year or two for several reasons so you need to perform your due diligence before you ever join with a company.

Many compensation plans for network marketing companies are similar to one another. Even in the direct sales industry you will find many network marketing compensation plans similarities.

Choosing your target market for a network marketing opportunity is extremely important since this one facet of your business will help you decide which opportunity for building your business is the best choice.

For an example my target market relate to two segment when it comes to real estate; buyers and sellers, investors and first time home buyers. So I needed a company that could fill a couple of needs for my clients.

This limited my choices for using a network marketing company until I found Financial Destination Inc. This company is awesome, not only did they meet the needs of my clients they have more than exceeded my personal expectations as well.

What an awesome opportunity for a network marketing company, this set of tools and services should be at the forefront of everyone’s financial mindset. Companies such as LifeLock, TelaDoc, Credit-Trax, Equity-Trax, Money-Trax, First Class Travel, First Class Benefits, Aetna Dental, Coast to Coast Vision, Neighborhood Pharmacy Discounts and so much more.

I look at it as when partnerships are created especially when giant corporations merge together for the benefit of the people this is a mission and a purpose driven company with an agenda to reshape the face of business.

You owe it to yourself to watch the video above then go and check out Financial Destination Inc.’s overview to see if it is right for you and your business.

The top 10 business blunders you want to avoid when starting and opening your own business

Filed under: business,home based business,Network Marketing — businessfromhomeequalsmoney @ 11:18 pm

You’ve seen them in the movie credits blunders, blunders are those unedited, unexpected moments when humility arise out no where and it’s how the reaction of those in the moment of vulnerability create the most surprising and most often unexpected events.

When you start your own home based business these bloopers and blunders can and most likely will arise. You’ve got to be strong enough and humble enough to roll with the punches, more often than not the people you are speaking to will get a good chuckle out of the occurrence and life goes on.

It’s just that “in the moment” feeling(s) that can really test your character. Be calm and collected; gather your self back to the place where you left off. I can remember a time when I spoke in front of a small group of people I froze, lost all of my concentration and was paralyzed with fear.

I was so humiliated and embarrassed with the who outcome I couldn’t finish my presentation, I felt scared and as if I let myself down. Think about wedding bloopers you hear about, the bride ran away, cakes dropped or falling over, dogs and the buffet.

The stories go on and on the same thing can be said for opening day for your business. The restaurant with no cooking capability, department stores without advertised merchandise. You know these front page headlines…

“Super Center Grand Opening Bust…”
Local Super Center grand opening soon closed due to product shipment delay. Recent sources say…..”

You know what I mean; I wanted to give you a check list of basic preparation needs to ensure a quality start for your business.

1) Branding… Business cards, marketing materials are they correct in spelling, address and contact information? Surprising enough I have seen incorrect information on promo materials I have even had some of
my own show up incorrect.

2) Are you prepared with the proper inventory, supplies, staff and support?

3) Are the leases all agreed on, terms negotiated, papers signed off?

4) Did you promote the event properly? Have you had enough leeway to create an interest, pre drip opening campaigns, post drip enticers and pique mailers.

5) Have you planned for disaster to happen, made a back up plan, over estimated response, underestimate demand and response for grand opening day.

6) Designed something to impress the visitors, snacks, drinks, contest give aways, free samples, cross and continuity products, back end up sell products.

7) Did you think about your business as a business or did you not think about it at all.

8) Small business is the same as big business it’s just a little different, are you strong and versed in your company’s mission, values, ethics and marketing vision.

9) Did you evaluate the costs and demands imposed on you when you selected the business you wanted to start?

10) Did you look within your self to see if you thought you had what it takes to run a small home based business?

These are some of the biggest bloopers I see when people go into business, the reason I am able to confidently say these things is simply due to the fact that I too made these bloopers, blunders and found out the hard way what it means to starting and opening my own home based business.

I hope that I can help you avoid some of these blunders when you start your own home based business.

90% of you will fail in network marketing unless you possess these skills

Are you frustrated withyour network marketing results

Are you frustrated with your network marketing results?

The sad truth is that 90% of those who start a networking business aren’t really serious about becoming self-employed. They are just looking to “buy some hope”, so they can quite the voices of discontent in their heads.

Pretty powerful statement isn’t it when you consider the downside risk can be huge, compared to the few who rise to the top. It’s no different in any other business or profession.

Look at the unemployment rates today since our economy has taken a sideways approach to market correction, people are left in the dark wondering when, why or how they can survive if it happens to them.

Look at the failure rate of huge corporate America, see giants crumble, empires fall in a single moment. This is what happens when you are an outsider; when you’re in the inside life seems different.

Leaders saw the ship heading for the rocks and what did they do, they jumped ship after taking billions of dollars in bonuses, dividends and stock holder payouts.

Abandon Ship Before tyour network crumbles

Don't abandon ship before your network reaches success.

These are the same 90% who never made it in the networking business. Todays corporate giants, yesterdays icons of success left the lives of many in shambles and ruins.

Building your networking business is not only a rewarding challenge, it’s what makes us as tomorrows leaders and giants, those of who rise to success vs. those who don’t what is it that sets people apart?

You can have two people in a room let them experience the entire training together, give them the same tools and one will ultimately make a substantial gain while the other does nothing; why is that?

We can pick this apart all day but it boils down to just a few words; ethics, standards and values. Yes they all say a variance of the same meaning, yet the difference of our understanding.

Ethics depicts ones behavior.
Standards are a description on ones strengths and opinions
Value relates directly to the gain or benefits one can bring.

So wouldn’t these be the same ways that all people starting a home based business, a networking business or even a brick and mortar business should address the decision to become a business owner?

Wouldn’t the correlation between these networking business failures, corporate giant implosions and everyday life activities all boil down to those same values?

So why settle for it, stop buying hope with no chance for it, you have the ability to make it and become a success whether you work from home via phone and computer or at a giant office with thousands of employees.

Success can be achieve with a little determination and patience

Success can be achieved with a little determination and patience

Self employment isn’t for those faint of heart, lacking ambition, or looking for something to just pass the time. Self employment is serious business. It can be done by anyone who is, coachable and willing to learn, you must also have a WHY factor larger than life itself, last but not least you must, must, must be willing to put forth the effort to succeed.

Networking is just that working your business by means of building networks, client networks for end usage of product, business networks to distribute more volume to more end users, and a database networked for ease in management of your entire operation.

Remember people create the cash, the systems create the wealth. Network your way to success with a home based network marketing company designed with your success in mind. It’s not the compensation plan or even the product. It’s you. Where do you fit in the top 10% or the average 90% you decide.

The Real Problem with Network Marketing and Multi-Level Marketing (MLM)

HINT: It’s not the business model itself

I was searching for reasons why a network marketing business is the best way to start and grow a business. I found out the real reasons why a network marketing business are full of opportunities not problems. So when you decide to build a lifestyle around a home based business learn why network marketing may be right for you.

Post from about.com written By Scott Allen

What's the real problem with network marketing

What's the real problem with network marketing

It never ceases to amaze me the extreme polar views on the topic of network marketing and MLM. Some people are passionate about it in the extreme, and there are even top celebrity authors like Robert Allen, Mark Victor Hansen, and Robert Kiyosaki doing it and advocating it. Yet, in many circles, you might as well declare yourself a leper as admit to being in network marketing.

So, what is the problem with MLM and network marketing?

Maybe it’s the pyramid structure? But you can’t really take issue with the tiered compensation structure—almost every large sales organization in the world has that. Salespeople get commission, and sales managers get overrides or bonuses on top of that, and sales directors on top of that, and VPs on top of that.

Or maybe it’s the fact that you have to pay to participate in it? But that can’t be it—that’s a standard franchising model. And I assure you, the franchise fee of most traditional franchises dwarf the sign-up cost of any MLM program by comparison.

Now certainly, there are illegal pyramid, or “Ponzi”, schemes. This is where the money is all being made off of signing up other people, with little or no real product ever being delivered. But in spite of whatever perceptions people may have, the fact is that Amway, Excel, Meleleuca, PrePaid Legal, USANA, and many others have sold millions upon millions of dollars of products to happy customers, many of whom are NOT also reps. So, there may be a perception problem here, but if so, the perception is out of line with the reality.

But surely the bad reputation MLM’ers has some more basis in fact than the occasional illegal pyramid scheme?

The real problem with MLM is not MLM itself, but some of the people it attracts. Network marketing is just a business model, and it really amounts to “micro-franchising”. Its upside is that it has a very low cost of entry, with the potential for exceptional revenue, and there are those who achieve that.

But those same things that make it attractive make it attractive to many who are NOT really qualified or prepared to become business owners. The salient characteristics of MLM make it attractive to people who:

  • have not done well in their business or profession and have little money saved up to invest
  • have no previous experience owning or running a business
  • have no previous experience in sales
  • have little or no experience developing business relationships other than that of employer/employee/co-worker
  • are not satisfied with their current level of income
  • have unrealistic expectations of the amount of work involved compared to the revenue realized

Don’t get me wrong—I’m not saying that there’s anything wrong with any of these things, or that this describes even a majority of network marketers—only that it describes a disproportionate number of network marketers, and that many of them never do anything about it.

As a result, many network marketers end up:

  • over-selling the opportunity
  • inappropriately discussing business in social situations
  • coming across as desperate
  • over-focused on new recruits and neglecting existing customers as a result
  • being either inaccurate or deceptive when talking about their business

Again, I’m certainly not saying that this describes a majority of network marketers, but it does describe enough of them to tarnish the reputation of the rest. To pre-judge someone based on the basis of a small minority of people in that group is horribly unfair, but we must realize that most prejudices have some basis in reality, even if it has been distorted.

So what’s the solution?

There’s a first time for everything. And network marketing/MLM is a great opportunity for people to have their first business, their first sales role, etc. My point is this—recognize it for what it is: it’s a business, and you are a business owner. And if you’ve never owned a business before, if you’ve never done sales before, if you’ve never networked before, you need to learn about how to do so, not just from the network marketing/MLM experts, but from established experts in those fields.

Network marketers who are serious about building a business should be reading and learning about business fundamentals, the latest sales and marketing techniques, strategies for networking and business development, etc., not just swapping tips at your team’s weekly or monthly meeting. Act like a small business owner, and people will treat you like one.

So with the objections clearly out of the way thanks to Mr. Allen. are there any more questions? Oh yes are you ready to start a business or just looking to see what possibilities are out there? Take the interview and see if there is an opportunity out there waiting for you.
